Rosa Nebula Marble
Marble Rosa Turkey
In the natural stone industry, certain countries are linked to a certain stone, although there are also other stones in the country. When talking about Turkey, a country with a great variety of granites and marbles, the first thing that comes to mind is the marble, Rosa Turkey.
This rose marble plays an extremely important role in the Turkish stone industry. For many years it has been one of the most exported rocks and the most famous in all large and small markets around the world. And yet, despite this status, which enjoys under his trade name, not too much is known about this limestone. At least if you ignore the generalizing statement “it is not very uniform”, which always comes up with this and many other stones.
Due to the irregularities in color and shading, it is difficult to assign a clear picture to Rosa Marble. There is no such thing as a “typical” pattern from this stone. If you ask a processing company for a sample or a meaningful photo, the general answer is that something like this does not exist. Anyone who works with this material, by definition, insists that no sample tile is the same as the other. Nevertheless, the greatest effort is made when laying floors, which is then reflected in a phenomenal end result.
Varieties of Rosa marble
The variety of this rock is not shown in the names. The true distinction between the different species can be explained as follows.
Does the stone have veins or not?
Does he have few or many veins?
What colors are these veins?
The varieties are determined based on the following criteria:
- Without veins: Rosa background. This variety is the least available, with less than 20% of the quarried stone.
- With few veins: the background color is Rosa and veins run in it, which can be brown, green or bluish-black. At around 40% of the total, this is the most common variant.
- With veins: Here the stone has more veins of the same color, which also applies to around 40% of the extracted rock.
There are also many different variants here: polished, aged, scratched, sandblasted, honed, acid-treated. Flamed is almost never offered.
